At Kurt Generators, we understand that timely and secure delivery is critical for your business. Our shipping policy is designed to ensure a smooth, transparent, and efficient delivery process from our factory to your destination.

1. Processing and Shipping Time

We pride ourselves on our rapid processing capabilities. For standard orders, our factory generally completes preparation, quality control, and dispatches shipments within one week (7 days) of order confirmation and payment processing.

2. Shipping Method

Given the heavy-duty nature and size of our diesel generator sets, all our international shipments are conducted by sea freight. This is the most secure and cost-effective transportation method for industrial equipment of this scale.

3. Delivery to Africa (Main Countries)

We provide specialized logistics services to our primary markets in Africa. Estimated sea freight transit times from our China port to major regional hubs are as follows:

• Kenya (Mombasa): Approximately 25 to 30 days.
• South Africa (Durban/Cape Town): Approximately 30 to 35 days.
• Egypt (Alexandria/Suez): Approximately 20 to 25 days.
• Nigeria (Lagos/Apapa): Approximately 40 to 45 days.
• Rwanda: Approximately 35 to 45 days (Includes sea freight to Mombasa/Dar es Salaam plus inland trucking).

Please note: Transit times are estimates and may vary due to carrier schedules, seasonal demand, or customs clearance procedures.

4. Customs and Duties

Customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties, taxes, or import fees levied by their respective countries upon arrival. We will provide all necessary documentation (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading) to facilitate a smooth clearance process.

5. Shipment Tracking

Once your order is loaded onto the vessel, we will provide you with the tracking information and Bill of Lading (B/L). Our customer service team will monitor the shipment and keep you updated on its progress.

6. Packaging and Security

All generators are securely packed in export-standard, heavy-duty wooden cases to ensure maximum protection against moisture and impact during the sea voyage.
